Cedar Roof Fire Retardant

Fire retardant and preservative treatment can now be applied to your wood roof.  In fact, insurance companies in some areas are insisting homeowners have a fire retardant applied to their cedar shake roofs.  We use a one coat, penetrating, non-toxic system which is also a wood preservative containing mold and mildew inhibitors which are effective against black mold.

While fire retardant application products are designed to make materials highly flame resistant and to slow down or stop fires from spreading, Regency Roofing – ShakeMasters^® cannot warrant or guarantee a fire will not occur and cannot guarantee in all cases that treatment product application will keep fire under control.
